The campsite has cabins with twin-size bunk beds and very thin mattresses; we strongly recommend that you bring your own linens, blankets, and a mattress pad for your own comfort.
You can also choose to camp in a tent, if you want more privacy. Please let us know that you intend to camp in a tent as soon as possible so we can help make sure you get placed in a good spot!

With prior notice given to event staff, early entry may be possible but not guaranteed. 

We will be serving dinner on Thursday; breakfast, a light lunch, and dinner on Friday and Saturday; and a light breakfast on Sunday. The exact menu will be determined and published a week or two prior to each event. 

Yes! You’ll want to bring snacks and your own drinks (coffee, sports drinks, etc.) to make sure you keep your energy up and stay hydrated in between meals. However, Disciples Crossing does not allow alcohol on their site, so this is an entirely dry event. 

Disciples Crossing has running water, showers, and flushing toilets. Showers and toilets are located in two bath houses; some individual cabins have their own bathrooms, but this is not guaranteed and we cannot promise to place you in one of them.

Liminalis is a four-day event, going from Thursday afternoon through midday Sunday.
Check-in will start at noon on Thursday. Dinner and the mandatory pre-game briefings will be at 6pm on Thursday. Time-in for the game starting will be about 7pm on Thursday. All of these are subject to change a bit depending on how things actually unfold, but that’s the schedule that we’re aiming for.

We’re still playing! It’ll be wet and muddy, but the game will still happen unless there’s sufficiently severe weather that makes it impossible to get to or stay on the site. Please pack a bunch of socks and some good water-resistant boots if the forecast is looking rainy.

You are welcome to take photos before the event starts and after it ends. We will also have a photographer on site taking photos during the event!
However, if you want to personally take photos during the event, in general our rule is “keep it quick and stay in the background.” Never interrupt a scene that is actively going on to take photos, and never pose for photos where other players can see you. Do your best to be inconspicuous, and put the phone/camera away as soon as you’ve gotten your shot. As a common courtesy, PLEASE obtain permission from any and all persons you are taking photos of or recording.

At present we require all attendees to be 18 years or older to participate.

Service dogs are allowed. You must be responsible for picking up after your animal, and never let it off a leash while on the event site.

Sorry, you can only attend if you’ve paid for a ticket and are wearing in-decorum garb.

Yes, it is required. Between time-in on Thursday and time-out on Sunday you will be expected to wear in-decorum garb to add to the immersive atmosphere. Modern shoes and glasses are acceptable, but please try to be as decorum as possible.

That highly depends on you! Treat the event like a 4-day camping trip, but with medieval-ish garb and armor and without needing a tent (unless you want to use one), and you should be good. Food, drinks, toiletries, lots of warm socks, blankets, pillows, changes of clothes if it gets wet, etc. We do recommend you leave any valuables at home and you should not need any real world money for onsite activities.

This one’s hard to answer, because a lot of it depends on what you want to do during the game and what kind of character you want to play. However, we can tell you that if you’re interested in fighting then armor is definitely going to be useful.

Our game uses the latex-coated foam LARP weapons that you can find from Epic Armoury, and other manufacturers. Please do not bring any real weapons with you. This is a big game of pretend, we can’t have you actually stabbing anyone!

Get in touch! We’re definitely looking for NPC Crew, or for donations if you have some gear that might be useful for the game.
Please be aware that being on Crew means that you’ll be running around playing NPCs or helping out with logistics all weekend, so you probably won’t have time to play a character of your own.

 We will offer a full refund on an event ticket up until 2 weeks before the event that ticket is for. After that date, refunds will be limited to 50% of the ticket price.
You may request to have a refund be in the form of a store credit instead of a monetary refund; in this case, you will always get a refund for the full value of the ticket price, regardless of the date at which you request it. You may request a transfer of your ticket to someone else by emailing us at [email protected] at any time.
